Do Therians and Otherkin with animal theriotypes/kintypes actually enjoy spending time in nature? Is there a correlation between animality and enjoying the outdoors? This short questionnaire is anonymous. No identifying information is recorded. There are a total of 22 questions that should take approximately 30 minutes to answer. I might include the results in a Therian Nation video on Youtube. I will be sharing this on other Forums. Please only answer once. Thank you. goo.gl/forms/2R0TINGJoAPJojnS2Feel free to discuss here as well. I do personally believe that being a wolf reminds me to get outdoors. I get restless and need to stretch my legs regularly, preferably in the forest. I need to get out and smell the earth, the rain or snow, trees and flowers, and sometimes I catch whiffs of deer musk, bear, or skunk. I still wish I could spend more time outdoors than I do. My mate and I have gone off the beaten path into the wilderness while canoeing, and it's always a wonderful experience.

Wow! You already have 13 respondents! That's great for a first day!
I've often said that I don't know how much of my life is affected by or how its affected by my therianthropy because I have nothing to compare it to. I have what psychologists call a strong need for novelty. I like learning new things and my primary learning style is active - I prefer to do things instead of just reading about them, watching videos, or listening to lectures.
I wouldn't call nature central to my religion but I think its important and I believe that its central to why there are Weres. I think it would be more accurate to say that nature is pervasive to my world view and spirituality.
I have a friend who is almost as at-home in nature as I am. He's been my hiking partner for about 40 years. He's most certainly not Therian.
I look forward to seeing the outcome of this study.

I've had a lot of great responses to this so far! Thanks everyone. The questionnaire is still open at this time.
