I thoroughly enjoyed reading that Wolf. It took me some time as life has been busy here today, but I had to say it's very well written and I do like how you have included the various studies that helped you analyse and conclude your hypotheses from you personal experiences. I have seen a lot of this in the community myself over the years and having gone from a shifter with occasional black out shifts due to repression to being contherian, I was having fun seeing myself reflected in your words. I hope you don't mind, but I have forwarded this to my fellows in TRG as I feel there are some good suggestions for future studies in there we could potentially build on, we've have actually discussed doing a large IQ test before as I personally have seen information saying that those with a higher IQ are more likely to be introspective and thus there is more potential to be aware of your own therianthropy. Also being an introvert I found the meyers briggs results interesting too. I wonder if these could potentially help identify if someone may identify as a specific species based on personality, or if being a specific were type leads you to develop a certain personality. There are some interesting possibilities and if anyone has a spare hour ( I can be a slow reader, easily distracted ) I really recommend having a read. Thank you

Thank you. I'm more than just a little honored.
I'd also like to see how closely personality follows theriotype. I've used the Berkeley Personality Profile and, since it's a shorter test, you might want to look at it as an instrument.
I'm trying on this and some other of the pages to stick closely to substantive research and to leave my opinions out of it. I hope I'm succeeding. It'll be awhile, but I want to see what I can turn up about the sociology of the Were community next.

Speaking of psychological studies, if any of you are interested in doing your own research, I've put my statistics package up on the Therian Timeline (Excursions>LabBooks>Tools). It's a LibreOffice spreadsheet document and will also work with OpenOffice. I used these office suites because they're both free downloads. I recommend the LibreOffice version since it seems to be maintained better and seems to be a little more stable. I'm pretty pleased with the stat package - it will do a lot of basic math (like quaternions), data management (filling in missing values and highlighting outliers), descriptive statistics (including robust statistics), geometry (areas, perimeters and such), matrix functions like general inverses and eigensystems, numerical operations like differentiation and integration, and statistics (like ANOVA, ANCOVA, regression analysis, hypothesis tests, contingency table analysis, and correlations).
I'm working on a statistics decision tree with glossary and a User Guide, but it'll be a while before those are done. I also plan to keep adding on extensions. The next will be a much more advanced contingency table section and more complex math utilities.
I've also started my section on Were sociology.
