The original plan was to set up a forum for the research etc, but it would require moderating and time and most of us in the research group are so busy with things besides the research, we just wouldn't have the time to maintain it. We are still trying to figure things out for that. I will however see if I can find the time to dig out emails for the relevant site admins as that is a good idea. If I was a bit more personally active in various forums I guess it wouldn't be such an issue, but I either don't have the time or even much inclination to take part in a lot of forum discussions. Though I have to remember that as part of the admin side of the team I have to broach scary possibilities such as relevant site admins. Serves me right for wanting to set up a research group lol

Ah, but ya'll are Were history (you're on the Timeline) and there are a lot of us that appreciate your work. If I can get my finances straightened out so I can get into the colleges around here, I'm going to see if I can fire up some more research groups on this side of the pond.

I went to try TW but they dont want anyone posting research links or studies in there so that's a no go sadly We use WL as one of our main sources for participants at the moment, will have to look at Therian Guide, But I recall someone telling me a 'researcher' wasn't particularly warmly welcomed there either! Haven't tried the awareness forums, I've not been over there in a very long time. Didn't even realise they were up and running again. Thanks for the suggestions Hopper LOL, yeah I think I remember a while ago they had someone claiming to be a researcher on Therian Guide. I don't really remember. Oh, I actually forgot there's Shiro's site Wulf Howl as well. A Google search will bring them up. As for Awareness Forums I'm not sure who is running it now, I'm actually not a member there. I was thinking of signing up but the activity seems very slow so I just check back from time to time to see if anything's changed. I don't think this is the original Awareness Forum though, I think folks wanted to bring it back.

If anyone fancies advertising the study on other forums that would be great. We still need between 5 and 6 people in order to allow the diary study to get published, but for some reason we just dont seem to be getting the interest. I am not sure why.

Update on the TRG diary study - Opening up to contherians and those who experience continuous shifts
Phantom Limb and Mental Shift Study
Hello,
We are still looking for participants for our study investigating mental shifts and phantom limbs using diaries and interviews. We are opening up our study not only to those who shift but also to those who experience almost constant phantom limbs and/ or changes in their mind set that represent that of their theriotype(s). We have already learnt a lot from those who have already participated but we need more people to participate so that we can get as representative a view of these experiences as possible. We do not take a pathologising view of therianthropy but simply seek to understand the experiences of therians. Our research is approved by The University of Northampton's Social Sciences Ethics Committee and it follows The British Psychology Society's guidelines for ethical research. If you are interested in participating and would like further information please contact Dr Helen Clegg at helen.clegg@northampton.ac.uk Contacting Helen does not commit you to participating.
Best wishes.
The Therianthropy Research Group
